Job Title: Machine/Building Maintenance Position
Shift: Weekdays, Full-Time – 40 hrs. per week

Job Summary
Conduct maintenance and repair work on company machines and building as well keep accurate records of all maintenance practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Computer/Software Skills:
- Previous experience/proficiency with navigating maintenance management systems (MMS) {i.e. Maximo, SAP}
- Ability to proficiently utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Provide mentoring, grooming, and inspiration for succession planning throughout the plant where appropriate.
- Provide technically adept guidance that displays an understanding of industrial mechanics, electrical, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC’s, AC/DC theory, motors, etc. to craftsmen.
- Manage multiple projects at the same time
- Communicate clearly and authoritatively both verbally and in written format
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis
- Live the Safety stand, adhere to the safety responsibilities.
- Ensure a safe, clean and environmentally compliant work environment and promote a culture that lives our safety is the first priority stance
- Ensure self and staff accomplish all safety engagement activities each month
- Ensure staff understands, knows where to find and follows all documented safe work procedures (guarding, electrical, confined space, working from heights, etc.)
- Maintain Predictive Maintenance Program
- Track and communicate work order notifications with all relevant staff members
- Ensure staff is trained, maintains current on any required certifications and that all parties understand and are capable of performing the full scope of their job expectations.
- Holds department accountable for delivering to targeted goals, and stretches each to their full potential regularly.
- Balance Office and Floor Presence to Accomplish Varied Tasks
Maintains budget (labor, contractor, repair & replacement) and inventory of spare parts in a fiscally responsible fashion
- Provides analysis data to staff with regard to relevant work processes and products
- Understands day-to-day production challenges, and issues ensuring proper prioritization of work-partners collaboratively with Management.
- Technical & Leadership Competence
Demonstrates an understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities
- Manages all capital projects/installations professionally and delivers committed results timely and cost effectively
- Provides evidenced mentoring to skilled craftsmen and staff personnel and demonstrates work behaviors consistent with expectations.
- Ensures performance management and timekeeping processes are managed appropriately.
Experience
- Industrial Mechanical and Electrical background, with a minimum of 3 years of people leadership responsibilities
- Experience, knowledge or formal training in a Manufacturing facility.
- Ability to initiate, drive, and sustain change and a proven track record of achieving results through employee engagement and peer relationship building and maintaining
