Leadership training at Page 1 Printers
Not long ago, we asked Enterprise Minnesota—a consulting organization that helps manufacturing companies become more efficient— to provide a Frontline Leadership training class for 16 of our company’s leaders, with the goal of improving internal communications and increasing efficiency. The training helps leaders increase knowledge of their own communication style along with the styles used by their team members to improve interpersonal effectiveness and productivity. At the conclusion of the two-day program all participants had learned how to identify each of the four leading “Social Styles” and how to put in place action plans to effectively work with and accommodate each style.
“As a result of the training, we have seen improved communication across the board, not only inside the plant, but externally with our customers as well,” said Craig Ryan, general manager at Page 1.
